A self-made denim T-shirt highlighting both the heritage and the ‘current’ state of the hip-hop collective ‘The Pharcyde’.

The baggy clothing displayed how big your family members were. The bigger your clothing the more dangerous your relatives were which gave you more street credit. Within this context clothing was a form of communication and amplified the moves the rappers made throughout the clip.

By separating the surroundings from the rappers in the clip this T-shirt tells both sides of the story. The inside shows their heritage while the outside shows their current status. Also, the shirt is reversible, so you can choose what you want to show to the public.
